Born 1930, in Sora, Italy, Angelantonio Palombo, the 3rd child of Modesto Dominic & Guilia (Tersigni) Palombo immigrated to the US with his parents in 1935 at which point his name was changed to Anthony (Tony) Angelo Palombo. In 1979 with his wife Beverly he opened Palombo's Italian Restaurant. Growing up with his Italian family and community of Canton, OH, Tony and his wife were well acquainted with foods of the central region of Italy when they started the restaurant. Many of the dishes at the restaurant reflect that influence. Tony Palombo sadly passed away in 1995. The restaurant is now run by his wife Beverly Palombo and their son Richard,
