With a live jazz ensemble performing nightly, Bandera in Chicago is a great spot to enjoy dinner with friends or a cocktail at the bar. Perched above Michigan Avenue, the dining room features excellent views, a rich collection of modern art, and a bustling exhibition kitchen where you can observe all the action. Local favorites include the slow roasted rotisserie chicken and Macho Salad with roasted chicken, dates, avocado, and goat cheese. Our entry is on Michigan between Grand and Ohio on the East side of the street, and we offer parking validation at the ROW Garage at 50 East Ohio St— $16 for up to three hours (half the normal rate). ON OUR DRESS CODE: To enhance the experience of all our guests we ask that you respect our dress code. We suggest collared shirts for gentlemen. We consider tank tops, overly provocative clothing, boldly logoed athletic attire, and flip-flops too informal for the dining experience we plan to provide. We do not allow hats to be worn in the dining room. Your comfort is our priority; however, we do not feel that overly casual attire is appropriate for dining in our restaurant.
